Week 8
I had a good week. It was a busy week, but it was good. I really enjoyed all the readings that we had this week. There were quite a few of them, but they were all good. They made me think about my Savior and how I can better myself and do better in certain areas of my life. They reiterated the fact that Jesus Christ is our ultimate example and we need to model our lives after him. I learned about Emotional Intelligence. That is an interesting topic. If we don’t have it, we can develop it through a lot of hard work. Changing ourselves will never be easy, but we can have some of the help we need through our Savior.
My business is going alright. I didn’t know that bath bombs were so fragile and hard to make. I had never made them before, so I thought they would be easy! I was wrong. Apparently, humidity matters, and we have been getting a lot of rain this last week. I haven’t been completely satisfied with the way the bath bombs are turning out. I tried a new recipe and it seems to be doing much better with the humidity that we have. They don’t always turn out how I want them to look, but they still fizz. I only know that because there is always the left-over product and there isn’t enough to fill the mold. I have sold quite a few bath bombs. I was hoping to sell more to local people, but all my friends from out of state seem to want to help me out and they are willing to pay shipping. This next week, I am going to work harder on selling to my local friends.
